Bily Clocks Museum Opens for 2026 Season on May 1

The Bily Clocks Museum & Antonín Dvořák Exhibit is excited to welcome visitors for the 2026 season beginning Friday, May 1, 2026. Located in the historic community of Spillville, the museum is home to the world-renowned handcrafted clocks created by the talented Bily brothers—masterpieces that continue to inspire visitors from across the country.

The museum will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through October 31, 2026. Guests are invited to explore the remarkable artistry, craftsmanship, and history behind these extraordinary timepieces and discover why the museum remains one of northeast Iowa’s most treasured attractions.

From the iconic American Pioneer Clock to the beautifully detailed Apostles Clock, each creation reflects decades of dedication, creativity, and precision. Visitors can also learn about the museum’s connection to famed composer Antonín Dvořák, who spent time in Spillville during the summer of 1893.

Group tours are welcome, and larger groups are encouraged to call ahead for scheduling information. Additional visitor details and admission information are available by contacting the museum directly.

We look forward to welcoming you for another memorable season at one of Iowa’s true hidden gems.
